Music Ministries. Chuck and Linda Worthy first started a Christian music network in 1987 in Vallejo, California where Chuck was stationed in the Navy. In 1989, when Chuck got out of the Navy, they moved to Washington and continued that music ministry under the name of Worthy Music Ministries.
With hearts dedicated to bringing talented Christian artists together by providing outlets for their God-given gifts, Chuck and Linda have had the privilege of working with hundreds of Northwest artists over the years.
Chuck and Linda have answered the call to cross racial barriers in Christian music, and have been blessed to see artists of different races working together as they build God's kingdom.
For many years Worthy Music Ministries has conducted the Washington State Christian Talent Competition, launching the careers of such talented artists as Natalie Grant, Witherspoon and others. Tacoma Freedom Fair This event is held on the Tacoma Waterfront on Ruston Way each 4th of July. In addition to the Worthy Music Ministries stage, this event includes artists, stages for various genres of music, an air show and more.
