Thank you for stopping by. As this is a new endeavor for me, this site will be very basic in the beginning.
For those who don't know my background, I'm originally from Southern California, and permanently transplanted myself to the Seattle area about 15 years ago. I've been singing and acting at home for as long as I can remember. Mom says I'm a natural ham, and she's probably right. I started out just "making a joyful noise to the Lord" until about age 11 or 12, then my voice changed quite a bit and I could actually hit the right notes.
My dream career in high school was to become a professional writer. I would write a screenplay that Steven Spielberg would be begging me to produce and Ron Howard would be knocking down my door to direct. Hey, a girl's gotta have a dream. While I continued singing and acting in community theater during high school and college, my professional life took a different turn.
For the last 20 years I've been in the Marketing field as a writer/graphic designer/event coordinator. Though the career took a "practical" turn, during this time I've continued to sing with the Worship Team at my church, even occasionally writing and acting in plays.
I was blessed several years ago to hear of a local worship ministry led by Chuck and Linda Worthy called Worthy Music Ministries. Chuck and Linda have sponsored the Washington State Christian Talent Competition for many years, and through getting to know them while competing in this event they have invited me to sing in several showcase events around the Puget Sound.
While I cannot begin to fathom why, God has really been bringing some awesome opportunities in the last year, and placed a desire in my heart to branch out more in my singing. I can only think He wants to use the talent He has gifted to me to spread the Word about the Salvation offered through acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. So, I'm going to be obedient to that and see where this journey will take me.
